TAT


TAT stands for Tapas Acupressure Technique. It was developed in 1993 by Tapas Fleming, an experienced licensed acupuncturist from California, USA and has rapidly become a treatment that is used in a number of situations by practitioners in different fields globally.
 
TAT is a leading-edge acupressure healing technique to end stress, create vibrant good health and live a happy life (no matter how severe the problems might seem right now). TAT bypasses the conscious mind and taps straight into the subconscious mind, where your body functions are managed and your beliefs are stored.

Think of it as sending a virus scanner through your inner programming and updating your software. TAT shifts your perspective and your responses. Naturally your experience of the world out there improves accordingly.

TAT can help you:

•    Let go of the past and eliminate beliefs that keep you from achieving what you want and deserve in life
•    Eradicate fears and phobias at their source
•    Heal the emotional aspects of physical illnesses
•    Stop the inner negative monologue that keeps you from creating the life you desire

TAT focuses on emotionally charged memories and beliefs. Your cell memory may still contain the emotional charge associated with an event, or an old belief, long after you have rationally decided those hurts, injustices or limiting thoughts should be consigned to your past. With TAT the charge that has been held in place is removed, and the event can be integrated into your life. The memory isn't erased but the stress is expunged. Often the painful memory becomes comical and the old thought laughable, a joyous release of deeply felt hurts.

The work involves placing your attention on whatever the issue is and touching a few specific acupuncture points on your face and at the back of your head. In this TAT pose you go through a series of nine steps*. That’s it.

Occasionally you may feel tired after doing TAT. A good night's sleep will take care of it. Also, remember to drink plenty of water after doing TAT and limit your time in the pose to 20 minutes a day. TAT moves a lot of energy and doing these things will help facilitate the clearing process while maintaining your vibrancy. Having a bath with sea-salts is a way of supporting yourself to integrate the healing.
